Poser and Daz|Studio have opened up the field of character animation to all computer users. For years, these two programs have built up a massive following and user-created asset library that allows their users to create stunning images of computer-generated people--they brought computer rendering into the hands of everyone, and now they are poised to become powerful animation solutions. But for many users, the transition from posing characters for still images to posing them for animation is a lot more time-intensive than they anticipated.
And that's where we come in.
Our motion-capture studio provides animated pose files (PZ2 files) that can be applied to popular Poser and Daz|Studio characters with a click. They can be used as is, or they can be used as a foundation for user-customized animations. Using mocap data allows for the ultimate in realism in character animation since it copies the actions of a live actor onto your chosen character.
As PZ2 files, these animated poses are easy to apply and require no cleaning to ensure that the characters move properly. And because each pose is optimized for a specific character, these animated pose files allow you to avoid the difficulties that come from traditional import of mocap data such as BVH files. Each pose ensures that your character is placed on the floor, with no foot-sliding or other scaling issues.
