We have just released Superhero Moves Volume 1 at Daz3d.com. This collection of eight superhero-themed animation packs is motion captured and specially optimized for Daz3d’s M4 and V4 characters. Superhero moves contains the following animations (along with mirrored versions for each character, bringing the total animations to 32).

The animations are provided in PZ2 Animated Pose format native to Poser and Daz|Studio and can be applied to M4 or V4 with a click. We also include the motion-capture data in BVH format so that the animations can be applied to any character in any program that supports BVH import.

This collection of motion-captured animated poses have been optimized for Michael 3 & 4, and Vicky 3 & 4.2 and allow you to animate them with a single click. Within seconds, you’ll be striking fear into the hearts of villains in your animated or special-effects project.
This moves pack includes:
Flaps in Night: The character stretches his cape outward and then snaps his arms down to his side. (Cape is not included.)
Land into Crouch: Starting off in a crouch, the character leaps to the ground to land in a crouch, and then rises. This move can be immediatedly followed with the Flaps in Night in this same pack.
Power Blast: The character takes the position for shooting a blast of power from one hand.
Power Blast Two Hand: The character takes the position for shooting a blast of power from both hands, held horizontally.
Power Blast Two Hand Vertical: The character takes the position for shooting a blast of power from both hands, held verticaly.
Shield Under Fire: The character with shield up presses forward while under fire. (Shield is not included.)
Shield Under Fire With Pushback: The character with shield up presses forward while under fire, then pushes the source of the fire aside. (Shield is not included.)
Stand Aside Citizen: The character steps in front of a civilian as he looks to take care of the problem.
Unhand Her: The character step forward and swings his arm to point at the hostage, demanding her release.
Each Move in the Move Pack is an Animated Pose (PZ2) file that works natively in Poser and Daz|Studio. Also included are BVH files for the moves, allowing the moves to be used in any application that reads and imports BVH motion capture files.
We’re here to show off a pose from our new Superhero Moves pack. The move allows M4 to assume a “hands on hips” pose that shows that our hero will tolerate no nonsense from the villain. This is an animated, motion-captured pose file for Daz3D’s Michael 4 figure and can be applied to him with a couple of clicks inside either Poser or Daz|Studio.
