New Demo Video for Zombie Moves 1

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

We’ve taken the time to update the demo video for our Zombie Moves Pack Volume 1 to bring it in line with the demo videos for our other motion-captured animated pose packs for Poser and Daz|Studio. Many of you have already seen the Mummy Walks video that we have in our Gallery Page, which really shows off what can be done with Poser and our Moves Packs. Our present video shows the motion-captured animations in their simplest form–applied to Daz3D’s Michael 4. Enjoy!

The Mummy Walks Video Promo for M4 Zombie Moves

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

We’ve put together a short video promo of the M4 Zombie Moves motion-captured animated pose files for Poser and Daz|Studio. We decided to make it look like a classic monster movie to really showcase what’s possible with the Poser software.

Poser isn’t just for posing, it’s also for animation and it is the fastest way to add in character animation to your project. If you have a story you want to tell, you can create it easily with the software, and with our motion-captured move packs, you’ll be sure to have realistic-looking motion each and every time.

We’ll be adding a high-res version of this video to our website soon and we’ll let you know when that’s live. In the meantime, enjoy the Youtube version below:

Posermocap’s Zombie Apocalypse Starts Now!

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Just in time for Halloween PoserMocap.com releases the first of its Zombie Apocalypse themed move packs.  Now you can bring the undead to life in your animations!

The store at PoserMocap.com is up and running, and first up is the Zombie Moves 1 Moves Pack, which contains the following motion-captured animated poses for Michael 3, Victoria 3, and Victoria 4.2:

  • Classic Zombie Walk: A shambling pose, with head down and arms down, this is the Zombie movement seen in films like George Romero’s classic: Night of the Living Dead.
  • Shuffle and Sway: With head down and arms outstretched, this is the Zombie walk most commonly seen in older zombie films, and can also be used for classic Egyptian Mummy horror clips.
  • Shuffle dragging foot: Like the Shuffle and Sway move, the Shuffle Dragging Foot move has arms outstretched as the Zombie pulls itself forward with only one good leg while the other drags useless behind it.
  • Zombie Hit by Gunshot: Not even guns stop the Zombie. This move starts with the Classic Zombie Walk and the Zombie gets knocked back by the impact of a gunshot before resuming its shambling motion.
  • Zombie Forearm Swing: The Zombie tries to attack its prey by using a powerful forehand swing.
  • Zombie Backhand Swing: A powerful backhand roundhouse blow meant to send a Zombie Hunter or Prey crashing to the floor from the impact.

Each of these poses is mirrored, giving you 12 animated poses in each package.  You can either purchase the packages individually for Daz’s Michael 3, Victoria 3, or Victoria 4.2, thus only buying the Moves that you need, or you can purchase the Multipack which contains all of the above poses for  Michael 3, Victoria 3, and Victoria 4.2, and as a bonus we’ve added an additional move:

  • Zombie Hit by Shotgun: Like the “Zombie Hit by Gunshot” move, this starts with a Zombie shambling forward in a style like that of the Classic Zombie Walk until it gets hit by a large-calibre blast which throws the Zombie’s arm sideways. But just like the gunshot move, the shotgun is not enough to ultimately stop the shambling undead creature as it continues shambling towards the shooter.

As with the other animated poses, this bonus pose also includes a mirrored pose, giving the Multipack 14 poses for each character for a total of 42 poses in all.  If you’re interested in purchasing the Multipack, click here.

Individual Moves Packs are priced at $9.95, and the Multipack is priced at $24.95.

Moves pack for other characters will be released in the coming weeks.
